First Day of School and School Supplies

For most elementary and secondary students, the first day of school will be Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Please note that many elementary schools offer a gradual start for preschool and kindergarten students. For more information, we encourage you to contact your child's school directly.

Your child's school supply list and back-to-school details should be available on your school's website. If you are unable to find this information, please contact your child's school directly.

Registration

The registration period for new elementary and secondary students will begin on August 17, 2026. Parents are encouraged to contact their neighborhood school to schedule an appointment.

Late Registration

The late registration period is currently underway for students registering for the first time. Children must be 5 years old by September 30 to be eligible for kindergarten registration.
